Terms of Use

These Terms of Use ("Terms") form an agreement between you and WordPara ("WordPara," "we," "us," or "our") governing your access to and use of the WordPara mobile application (the "App"). By downloading or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

Your account

Some features require an account. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity that happens under your account. You agree to provide accurate information and to notify us of any unauthorized use.

Premium and purchases

• Lifetime Premium. WordPara offers Lifetime Premium as a one-time, non-consumable purchase. It is not a subscription and does not renew. Once purchased, the Premium entitlement remains tied to your account and to the app store account you bought it with.
• Payment processing. Purchases are processed by the app store you downloaded the App from: on iOS by Apple through Apple In-App Purchase, charged to your Apple ID; on Android by Google through Google Play Billing, charged to the payment method on your Google account. Prices are shown in the App before you confirm.
• Purchase verification. We use RevenueCat to verify purchases made through Apple or Google and to link the resulting Premium entitlement to your WordPara account.
• Restoring purchases. If you reinstall the App or use a new device, you can restore your Lifetime Premium using the "Restore Purchases" option, as long as you are signed in to the same Apple ID (iOS) or Google account (Android) used for the original purchase.

Refunds

Because purchases are processed by the app stores, refunds are handled by Apple or Google in accordance with the App Store or Google Play terms. We are not able to issue refunds directly. On iOS, please use Apple's "Report a Problem" page or contact Apple Support. On Android, please request the refund from your Google Play order history or contact Google Play support. If you have trouble, contact us and we will do our best to help guide you.

Advertising

The App shows interstitial ads supplied by Google AdMob. Ads appear only after you tap certain buttons in the App, and the action you started continues once the ad is closed. Ads are not rewarded: viewing an ad does not give you coins, energy, or any other in-app benefit.

Premium does not remove ads. Lifetime Premium unlocks the Premium features described in the App; it is not an ad-free purchase, and Premium users may still see ads.

Coins and Rewards

WordPara Coins are in-app loyalty points that you earn through supported activity in the App. Coins are not money, cryptocurrency, stored value, or a bank balance.

• Coins can be used only inside WordPara, for eligible rewards shown in the Rewards catalog.
• Coins cannot be transferred between users, and they cannot be sold, withdrawn, or exchanged for cash.
• Reward availability, stock, eligibility, and the coin cost of a reward may change.
• A reward request is not guaranteed until it has been successfully accepted by our server-side claim process.
• Duplicate, fraudulent, automated, manipulated, or otherwise abusive claims may be rejected or cancelled.
• Where we confirm a technical error, a duplicate transaction, fraud, or abuse, we may correct coin balances or reverse a reward.
• Deleting your WordPara account may result in the loss of unused coins and of rewards that have not yet been fulfilled, subject to any legal obligations and to any fulfillment we have already accepted.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the App for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms.
• Attempt to access accounts, data, or systems that are not yours.
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or tamper with the App, except where permitted by law.
• Interfere with, disrupt, or place an unreasonable load on the App or its infrastructure.
• Copy, resell, or commercially exploit the App or its content without permission.

Intellectual property

The App, including its design, content, and trademarks, is owned by WordPara or its licensors and is protected by applicable laws. We grant you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive license to use the App for your own learning. All rights not expressly granted are reserved.

Account deletion

You may delete your account at any time from within the App at Account > Delete Account. Deleting your account removes your personal data as described in our Privacy Policy and on the Delete Account page. Please note that a non-consumable purchase such as Lifetime Premium is tied to the app store account you bought it with — your Apple ID on iOS or your Google account on Android. Deleting your in-app account does not refund a purchase, and Apple or Google may still allow you to restore it on a new account.

Disclaimers

The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that it will meet a specific learning outcome.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, WordPara will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the App.

Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date above. Your continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
