Delete your account
You are always in control of your data. You can permanently delete your WordPara account at any time, directly inside the app.
Open Account settings
In the WordPara app, sign in and go to the Account tab.
Tap Delete Account
Select Account > Delete Account and confirm that you want to proceed.
Your account is removed
Your account and personal data are permanently deleted or anonymized right away.
Deleting your account in the app
The fastest way to delete your account is from within the WordPara app. Open the app, sign in, and go to Account > Delete Account. After you confirm, your account is removed and you will be signed out.
What happens to your data
When you delete your account:
- Your authentication record and personal profile (such as your email and display name) are permanently deleted.
- Data associated with your activity, such as reward claims, is anonymized so it can no longer be linked back to you.
- Your learning progress and saved favorites tied to your account are removed.
- This action is permanent and cannot be undone. If you want to use WordPara again later, you can create a new account.
A one-time purchase such as Lifetime Premium is tied to your Apple ID, not just your in-app account. Deleting your account does not refund a purchase, and you may be able to restore it on a new account using the same Apple ID.
